Fortuna, California – Rotary Club of Fortuna takes over the Eel River Valley Idol Talent Show.
On August 6, 2011 Ron Alexander, Public Relation Chairman of the Fortuna Rotary Club and his committee will host the 6th Annual Eel River Valley Idol Talent Show. The event will be held at the Winema Theatre in Scotia, California. Alexander is looking for amateur participants for the event. There will be two categories – Adults aged 16 and over & youth aged 15 and under. Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 contestants in each category. Interested performers will need to submit their application on or before July 23rd. to be considered. Auditions will take place on July 28, 29, 30 and 31at the Winema Theatre. The Eel River Valley Idol Talent Show is a fundraiser and will benefit the Fortuna Rotary Youth Scholarship programs. Tickets for the show are $15 for adults and $5 kids (12 and under). Tickets for the pre-show reception, with no host cocktails & Hors d'oeuvre, are $35 and include show admission.
