Announcements/Recognition
1. Bd of Directors met last Tues. approved Budget. See yellow handout. They approved a matching $3000 to the McLean Foundation grant to the Back Pack program including the Town School. Also reapproved the purchase of another BBQ not to exceed $700. Allan Baird will be asked to take care of this. :-)
2. Leonard Whitchurch discussed the upcoming FHS football season. They have their first game on Sat. a triple header. With Hercules School. And the Interact Club will help with the Civil War Days. Robin Pickering is the new Advisor for next year.
3. Our Golf Tournament will be Friday the 5th of Sept. Shot gun start at 1pm. Dinner afterwards. Non-golfers $20 for dinner.
4. Pool Party was a hit. 20-30 people showed up and had a great time.
5. Sept. 20 is the Foundation Seminar at our Queen/Presidents office. Nico Kilmer from 9-3. PLEASE ATTEND
6. Oct. 18 Foundation Dinner North
7. Connie Bertie was fined $10 for her 1967 Dairy Princess picture. Our Queen had to be prompted to fine her. I guess Royalty sticks together.
8. Robert Johnson discussed his trip to Europe coming up. He will be fined when he returns. Remember when you go on a trip to "Bring something back for us." We will auction the gifts off at our Annual Dinner.
9. New phone booklets were handed out. Don't forget to pick your up.
10. Del Westman was fined $10 I forgot what for. He won something. :-)
11. Jesse was fined $5 for his phone ringing.
PROGRAM - David Hull from the Harbor Dist. he gave us an update on "Redwood Marine terminal Modernization Project."
BDAYS and Anniversary - Ed. Tanferani - $5 Dennis Hazelton gave $100 for his anniversary.
