The stitches out and he’s doing fine.
GSE team which will be traveling to Brazil on May 12, 2009 and returning June 17. Brazil will send a team to our District on May 2, 2009. They will be here for the District Conference May 15 to 17, 2009. Nico has scheduled the GSE dinner for May 14, but we may need to change that date.
Just another reminder that the Rotary Club of San Francisco is celebrating 100th anniversary with a gala at the Westin St. Francis Hotel Sunday, November 9,2008 Rotary Prez DK Lee will be there. Prices and tours available are on the brochure.
Institute for Leadership for District 5130. 2 days hands on, brains on leadership development program on October 17 & 18 at the River Lodge. This is a great opportunity for someone from our club to attend. Read flyer
Foundation Seminar North/ went well. Nico wishes we would have had someone other than her, attend,
Foundation Dinner North on October 18th which we are hosting with the morning club. Nico is going to assign tasks for that evening. Purchasing $100 for the raffle tickets also makes you a sustaining member in the Foundation. Plans are moving along, we have dinner tickets and raffle tickets available. We are planning on making this a very elegant evening. Our theme is “Dreams take Flight” in keeping with our speaker, Brian Shul, a fighter pilot, author and speaker. Tickets will be $50/person. Our next committee meeting will be Tuesday, September 30 at my office at 5:15. Our current committee is Hazelton, Connie, Dave Somerville and me and we need help with decorating, planning, raffle prizes, check in and other activities, so please volunteer to help. The morning club has already got lots of Rotarians participating so we will be asking you for help. Dennis Hazelton: Handed out tickets and raffle tickets, so get your money in.
