The regular meeting of the Fortuna Rotary Club was called to order at 12:30 by President Nico Kilmer. Pledge was lead by Maureen Lackey and the invocation was by Pat Whitchurch.

Announcements and Recognitions:

1. Rodeo Float - Rocks and so do all of those who helped with it. Thank you all. We got 1st place in Theme.

2. Rotary Day at the Fair is August 14, Thurs. We get Free Admission. Social hour starts at 12:30, Lunch 1:15, Racing at 2:20.

3. Golf Tourney - Sept. 5th. Dinner at Fortuna Golf

4. Our President is working with the So. Fortuna Elementary, for our Major Project, to put in a running track.

5. Foundation dinner North, co-chaired with Sunrise is Oct. 18th. Dreams take Flight. We will need to help. If you can volunteer please let Nico know.

Fines:

Pat Whitchurch - dunk tank photo. He got wet a lot. $20

Ken Zanzi - Cowboy mixer - won some wine and last years T-shirt, $10

Duane Riggi - passed on $10 to Pat Whitchurch for dunk tank photo's.

Jesse Duncan - Has a new job with Primer Financial, No fine. Just congrats!

Program:

Cricket Biard (better half of Allan) from Cal Fire Humboldt/Del Norte. She talked about all the programs available and the passed and current fires in the area.
